yup.. solar gets a lot of attention and wind has been there but it will (and has) pretty much matured. (except for high altitude stuff)

Solar is only in the beginning.

In the end solar will win hands down in the long run for generated power around the world. The main reason being you can put it on rooftops. Distributed, with costs continuing to decline for many, many years to come. JMHO

(I still like wind though!)

Would like to be around in about fifty years and see whats happening!
