It may well be that all three of the Heat stars rank somewhat below Michael Jordan. But IMO all three of them rank significantly above Scottie Pippin whom I always felt was one of the more overrated players of all time. This last was pretty well borne out by Pippin's complete failure to accomplish anything when he played without Jordan.

Pat Riley put together some pretty strong teams during the era of Michael Jordan (remember Tim Hardaway and Alonzo Mourning), but they were always crushed by Jordan.

So Pat Riley was more than motivated to spend years planning this outfit out. Incidentally I think the rest of the Heat team significantly outranks the rest of the Jordan-Pippin team.What was his name? Luc Longley? give me a break.

We shall see. No guarantees in life or basketball.
