There is a basis of truth in that essay on Truth but the essay has also been contaminated by the author’s biased perspective. There are many ways to consider the Godliness of Jesus and there are countless sects witnessing to that diversity of view point. There are also thousands of historical atrocities attesting to the degree of evil that can come of those differences when left in the hands of religious authority. In any event I have several responses pertinent to the topic of Truth.

----------------------
Two opposing statements can be true:

The following are simple true statements, when considered under the usual common contexts and contingencies in which they are delivered: , our planet has one Sun, Birds have feathers.

1) The ocean is wet ... Ocean fossils are found on the Great plains of America, so it is a Dry Ocean,
2) Our planet has one Sun ... The night's stars in the sky are also Suns and they are experienced by the people of this planet as often as the One which shines in the day time,
3) Birds have feathers ... the chicken in the oven is a bird and has no feathers.

-------------------------

Truth as an absolute is not veiled in perception. Truth is what may be revealed once any and all veils to perception could be lifted. Human beings, however, understand the truth of existence each and as a group from the limited perspective they were granted as a condition of existence. We interpret truth as they are able to consider issues and circumstance, whether information be documented, taught, in the hearts of men, offered by experience, or hanging out in the aether. Attributable deceit is a fairly simple matter. If you have attempted to conceal a known truth by actions or utterances, or withheld pertinent information with any intent to deceive others, you have in essence lied. And yet, even then, with attempts to deceive, including the utterance of falsehood, is a revelation of truth about the purveyors, even unto them selves.

-------------

Truth is a word but not just a word. It is only with words that we have the ability to give meaning to anything in existence; where, language is to the mind as sight is to the eye; and where the path to truth is founded on reason and purpose.

We believe what we experience, observe, or ponder is real because it is reasonable to do so. We may have doubts about this or that (When illusion or corruption is in play for example) because we believe it is reasonable to be skeptical at times. Truth as an idea, representing that which is pure and which can only be known by removing the gloss, or lifting the veil to reveal the authentic ... witnessed only by the genuine truth seeker for which nothing remains hidden forever.

------------------------

Most scientists would agree that serious inquiry using scientific method results in finding facts and helps in revealing the truth of things.

I heard a fella recently say scientific discovery is an act of revealing God.

Then I heard another guy say truth is not concealed, it is unconcealment.

Seems redundant.
