Jumper, I don't know the fund's strategy. Is it a short fund, a defensive fund...what? The purest bear fund I know about is the Rydex Ursa (great name!) Fund (RYURX). It is short S&P 500 futures and is designed to trade exactly inverse to the S&P 500. Not a recommendation, because I'm not sure we're in a bear market...but it sure smells like it might be.
