You are right. Poverty. John Kenneth Galbraith wrote the definitive work on inflation. The rich can invest in vehicles that will float with inflation, like houses and real things (stocks-gold).

The poor live on fixed incomes, more or less, and get wiped out; and so, the countries debt is wiped clean by the poor.
