Of course everyone has a perspective and is biased in one way or another but I think he is advocating a view of truth that is commonly referred to as the Correspondence theory of truth. I am a father, a son, and a brother, but not at the same time or in the same way. Given that the proper qualifications and definitions are expressed the "Great plains of America" is not an ocean, the earth only orbits one primary star, and the chicken in the oven is or at least once was, a bird.

Much more could be said but I need to sleep now.
