Three days to go in the October option cycle. The futures for energy and stocks are up big this am. Guys here who do the Covered Option game are having a great month. My CSPs (cash secured puts) can be heard changing to cash as I speak. Additionally, my shares can also be heard converting to cash. Come Monday I may no longer qualify as an energy investor. Reentry at these levels will be a tricky proposition. This month is a good example of why selling OTM calls is IMO a good idea. Next month reentry may be via ITM calls for some added safety. Bob
