Re -- I say this is a more serious bug than the fp bug of several years ago because the number of users likely to actually encounter that earlier bug was very small:

Actually, the number of "users" likely to encounter the current bug is much smaller.

-- It requires malicious programmers.
-- It is now known, so appropriate actions can be taken to prevent it.
-- It does not afflict any of the known programs
-- Its a non-issue with singleuser windows95 systems.
-- The monkey virus can cause more damage, if virus detection is not present in mutiuser servers.

So how many mutiuser systems do you think are affected by the monkey (i like this virus name) virus.
