Hi Ken, I'm guessing that would be pushing it.That's more like the worload for a halfton truck. My bet that drive train is more like 500-1000 pound payload - thinking of it like a gas rig. The vehicle I drove was a prototype and they had a representative inside with me. It had wonderful acceleration ,but not sure how the contiuously variable gear trans holds up toa load? Bob
