No; If "ALL" birds have feathers, then either the featherless thing in the oven is not a bird or "ALL" birds do not in fact have feathers.

That's pretty basic. I'm surprised that you don't recognize that and would repeat such a weak example.

That IS his point, since he concludes that you have an obligation to attack others based on his presumption of being right.

You seem to be reading your own issues into the text that are not actually there. Nowhere in the article does he conclude that:
"you have an obligation to attack others based on his presumption of being right."
