andy: i agree with your idea, similar to what has finally dawned on me. i'm going to do just that with 2,000 shares. my problem is that i didn't want to have sold it and see it take off without me. i'll write 12 1/2 calls once it gets close to a dollar premium. one question for you: why so risky in FY98? thanks for your time. neal
