Christine O'Donnell: GOP Has Abandoned Me
... BECAUSE SHE TRAILS BY 19 POINTS

(USER SUBMITTED) – She can't remember any recent Supreme Court cases, but Christine O'Donnell isn't about to forget how the GOP is sitting on its wallet instead of pouring cash into her gaffe-infused race. “The Republican Party on the state level, or on the national level, neither have come in to help me close the gap in the polls," she said at a pub after last night's debate, calling opponent Chris Coons a "sitting duck."

The lack of forthcoming cash isn't unusual, notes Politico: Coons leads by 19 points, and party committees rarely commit resources late in the season to campaigns that trail badly in the polls. But an NRSC official countered, "Our staff is in daily contact with her team and in fact the NRSC's political director was just on the ground in Delaware this past week meeting with her staff and discussing how best to spend the incredible amount of money she's raised over the last several weeks."
