The Chilean miners were rescued and everyone should be happy about that. There was little discussion about the horrible work conditions those miners face or the total lack of safety regulations in Chile. It is much worse than in scab mines in West Virginia. Yes, Chile once had strong trade unions looking out for their citizens' safety at work and a govt. that gave a damn. What ever happened to that?

Oh, I forgot, we killed that President and helped the Army crush the unions. Like a good neighbor, America was there.

However, we did supply technology to help the rescue, so our policy in Latin America has only been 95% rotten.

Yanquis go home. No, not New York Yankees, because we want to play ball.
