Seems like a no win situation up your way going forward. I'd cash out the 'winnings' and move to one of the ground zero bust markets where you can live like a king and never have to work again. There are many decent parts in FL where you can buy 2/2 condos for $25k now or newer block 3/2/2 homes for $50k

john, do you see the foreclosure mess in FL impacting prices downward? i can see an inventory build while this is sorted out...i know someone who is looking in FL to buy an investment property and he's watching the moratorium closely and thinks once those properties go back on the market, he'll be a buyer...

also which parts of FL do you consider safest to invest?
