You are right that history is not of much interest to me. While it's true that Adolf didn't spend time fighting at Gallipoli, he did fight against my second cousin Ormond Burton in France somewhere [near enough for government work]. My father had a go at him too in World War II. Both my cuzzie and my father won both rounds. But my great grandmother and great grandfather lost to the Prussians back in the 1870s, hence the fleeing to NZ.

The Ottoman Empire lost and was carved up by the post WWII Victor's Club called the United Nations.

That's how it went, back in the day. More or less. For the most part. Might made right.

Nowadays, most people prefer to avoid such solutions.

Rewriting history is not much use. Have a look around and see how things are and what to do next. Islamic Jihad ideology is quite a problem everywhere it meets other people. Most other borders are more or less peaceable these days though some are armed to the teeth.

Now what? Jews aren't going to be taken over by Islamic Jihad. Imagine the horrors that would bring. So whatever answer is invented will have to involve Jews being in charge of Jews rather than Islamic Jihad in charge of Jews. Or, we could get creative and have Tradable Citizenships in a reconstituted UN with a way out of the mess for everyone.
