It's the opposite way around, Jeff. Shortsellers borrow shares from longs and
immediately sell them (causing down pressure), with intentions of covering them by
repurchasing the shares later (causing upwards pressure).



Are you sure? Isn't it the short selling that keeps a stock up? After all if the shorts started shorting ASND @$25 we wouldn't be going down! Right? But most likely they started covering, thus the decline...am I right?
