Big - I prefer to buy the stock and sell an OTM call to have the possibility of appreciation. I think ITM covered calls and puts are about the same. But wouldn't the price of the premium reflect the difference (if one looks at the same strike)? The Put is going to be a higher premium than the call since the stock price is closer to the put strike than to the call strike. If I am saying that right. big
