Both false (although in a relatively minor way, at least for those who don't use tobacco), and not particularly important (or relevant depending on how you look at it). Most of the tax increases being pushed haven't happened yet, but the argument is about whether they should happen.

Hardly entirely. The Bush team, and the Republicans in congress, would mostly have preferred to not have the sunset provision.

Letting these taxes go back up, would technically not be an Obama tax increase, as he is not increasing the tax, but he supports letting taxes go up. Also he has supported (and to a very limited extent actually implemented) tax increases besides this increase.
