It is detrimental, since there is no market. I'd rather
like to know at what point we reach the bottom of this
economic slide. With Ben engaging in this activity, the
pit may be bottomless -ng-

There are some grounds for optimism: even though central
planning is detrimental, the economy sometimes finds a way
to grow despite that. There are numerous examples
of crony capitalist countries that actually have
economic growth -g- That said, this activity certainly
tends to slow down any potential long term economic
growth, and if it becomes deeply ingrained, long term
economic growth can be negated and reversed. I am talking
about the bottomless road to zero. So, this is bad. We've
been on it for some time. -ng-
