It's far more than zero latency: it's a whole range of questionable practices: youtube.com

But even if it was only zero latency, who gains from it? Only traders and the markets they're paying off. Investors have already lost money through flash crashes, and they're not happy. Is zero latency with 3 crashes per month and increased systemic risk an "improvement"?
