I live In Manitoba and have some friends in southern Minnesota. At the time of the last election, I asked them their thoughts on Ron Paul and they did not even know who he was let alone what he stood for. Sad in one sense but logical in another. The vast majority have always been sheeple and always will be, save for a few brief periodic shining moments where their is an uprising over freedom and rights.

I think if anyone has followed the lyrical content of Pink Floyd's album "Animals", Roger Waters hits the nail on the head with his view on the worlds social structure - their are Pigs (flying), Dogs and Sheep. Pigs are the elite, Dogs are the Pigs henchman and pig wannabe's. Dogs also herd the sheep.
