I fully agree.

One of the disturbing aspects of the government's unethical slithering and illegal activities these days is that much of what they have done over the past couple of years was actually the crux of cynical remarks and pointed sarcasm over a decade ago. Now, it's all come true.

Today, one can suffix nearly any bizarre assertion, cynical remark, caustic comment, or sarcastic quip with, "...You know. Like they've been doing."

For example, I may say, "If we're not careful, Congress may totally cease the process of debating and voting on legislation, and merely 'deem' the bills passed... You know. Like they did this past summer."

See what I mean? Precious little political fodder has shock value anymore, because the bastards have done it all and worse. We're used to it. -ng-
