Parnell: Alaska seeks to settle lease dispute adn.com JUNEAU -- Gov. Sean Parnell said Friday that the state is working to settle a legal dispute over leases that could be critical to the advancement of a major natural gas pipeline in Alaska. Parnell declined to get into specifics but said he's "increasingly optimistic" that litigation over the North Slope's Point Thomson gas fields can be resolved out of court.
