It would not hurt to be objective about this issue. What
we know so far is
A) There is a bug in the Pentium Chip.

B) This could cause somebody to intentionally crash a system

C) This is **not** a bug in both Pentium II and Pentium Pro,

D) The effects of this will be short term.

Having said that, lets try to answer the following:

1. Will this bug cause Intel to do a recall, offer a patch (?), etc...
2. will that have any financial implication.
3. Does the short-term down trend offer a buying opportunity
4. Does AMD, Cyrix have a short term advantage.

BTW: I own Intel stock, but would like to hedge my position if
that is an intelligent option.
