Ocala is one of the worst places because way too many subdivided vacant lots from the 1960's scattered all over with inadequate infrastucture to service plus no real local economy. You go there to steal RE with a lot of land 'dirt' cheap not expect much appreciation as builders buy lots for next to nothing and can build new at very low prices all day long. Much of metro Tampa and especially Miami is actually near build out. Not many large parcels of land for single family development left.

I shouldn't have really commented. I haven't followed FLA market by market that closely in the last ten years.
