Hi Horgad,

My father planted 120 acres of trees in an agreement with the State of Wisconsin to be taxed at 10 cents an acre for 50 years.

With that agreement,the state wrote a harvesting schedule (that would maximize the growth rate of the trees).

After each harvest the state received 10% of the stumpage.

Over the 50 years it was a great investment for both my DAD AND THE STATE.
