Yves is right, this is not litigation.

But it is merely considered good form to make a formal demand before filing suit.

And recall all the excess reserves the TBTF banks have sitting at the Fed? Those are very deep pockets.

The demand letter is online. I am going to read it to see exactly what is claimed. But it is going to take a while as it is thick with legalese.
