It funny...Google, RIAA, and various other companies, groups, and even hackers seem to have such an easy time collecting information on people without them being aware, but the Justice Department and the FBI are apparently prepping new legislation to increase "wiretap" capabilities, since they feel helpless in this technologically advanced world.

(I put "wiretap" in quotes because it's sort of an outdated term)

If the FBI did what Google, RIAA, et. al., have done, it would land people in prison and it would be covered 24/7 on the news. Go figure.
