Half-witted Washington Post steps in it attacking O'Donnell

then tries to hide its display of raw ignorance.

patterico.com

How much did the left show its keister on O’Donnell’s alleged gaffe? So much so that the AP/WaPo story on the subject was almost completely rewritten last night, and without an official correction. ...Let’s start with just the first paragraph.

Before:

WILMINGTON, Del. — Republican Senate nominee Christine O’Donnell of Delaware on Tuesday questioned whether the U.S. Constitution calls for a separation of church and state, appearing to disagree or not know that the First Amendment bars the government from establishing religion.

After:

WILMINGTON, Del. — Republican Christine O’Donnell challenged her Democratic rival Tuesday to show where the Constitution requires separation of church and state, drawing swift criticism from her opponent, laughter from her law school audience and a quick defense from prominent conservatives.

(see url above for more display of total incompetence from the Washington Post)

The mind-numbed Washington Post and AP both gleefully attacked her for her "not knowing" the separation of church and state is in the Constition.

O'Donnell asked where the term "separation of church and state" appears in the Constitution.

IT DOESN'T.

The half-witted lefty media jumped on her for not "knowing" that the Conctition said that,

THEN found that THEY were in error and not O'Donnell

and frantically revised their original attacks to try to cover up their gross error.

Their stupidity is exposed HERE:
