I appreciate all the comments following my recent post. I reiterate here that I feel extremely bullish about Naram and have been accumulating shares weekly for the last two months. The only concern I had was about the accounting practices in the Venezuala locations. I had hoped to ask the CEO during the conference call, but the system wasn't working right. Several of the people online (27) wanted to ask questions, but couldn't. In any case, I'm very willing to watch this pan out.

Unfortunately, I agree that poor people in general tend to gamble with money they shouldn't. A recent scan of three encyclopedias showed that the education rate in Venezuela is quite low. 90% of the population is considered "literate", but education is required only up to the 9th grade (this is new, used to be the 6th grade). There is definitely more money coming into the country, but there is a wide space between the rich and the poor. I've been trying to study the country to get a better idea of what it's all about down there. Still a lot to learn.

The area is full of gamblers, which is certainly good for Noram. How often does a small-time investor get a chance to profit form ownership in a state lottery!!! It can't be done in the U.S. I expect the VLT's to do very well. Something like 500 mil gross in '99 (Conservative). And there appears to be a lot of interest in neighboring countries as well.

I look to the Venezuelan slots machines and lottery to be the big money makers here. I'm following the bingo stuff as well, but view it as gravy money. I'm certain other projects are in the works. It'll be fun to watch this one. Again, regardless of news releases and LBI, this stock won't make a huge move until the money shows up on the balance sheet. That's just the way things really work in the stock market. I figure our buying window extends from now to the end of march '98.

I'm not trying to hype the stock. I'd just like to have an intellegent conversation about the facts. Any comments?
