I didn't realize that all the EU members had balanced their budgets now either. We were just discussing a couple of days ago that much of Europe has cut back drastically on their Keynesian type spending. Not sure many are suggesting budgets be in balance anytime soon - only that the hemorrhaging of debt be slowed. The British news is but further evidence of that trend - in Europe.
