It always comes down to pitching. From a free-agent point of view, it was better Lee didn't beat the Yankees in a game 7. That would have been an awkward signing. If we get Lee and resign Pettit, add in Sabathia and Hughes, that's a great starting four. Maybe Kerry Wood, who impressed everyone as the 8th inning guy, tries to go back to being a starter. I suppose we keep Burnett and see what he has left, but we ditch Vasquez (who likely will have a great year somewhere else, but he sucked this year).

I'm rooting for San Fran to make it to the show. Both sets of fans will burn down their cities if their teams win. Besides, Philly fans don't need an excuse to burn their city down.
