Hall of Famer Oscar Robertson told ESPN that you can not compare anyone to LeBron James.

And Robertson should know a little about James' situation. He too was considered the greatest in the game and had to leave Ohio to win an NBA title.

Robertson, the only player in history to average a triple-double, started his legendary career in Cincinnati but it wasn't until he joined Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in Milwaukee that he got a ring.

He differs with Charles Barkley who said James would "never be Jordan" saying "LeBron is in a class by himself."

As to what James should do with the cold shoulder he is getting from his home state?

"They talk about you, they burn your jersey ... Just grit your teeth and go harder. Just keep going hard. Keep going as hard as you can. Wear 'em out," Robertson said.

Maybe the question shouldn't be if James can equal Jordan but rather can he equal Robertson who many consider the most talented player of all-time.
