I haven't seen any polls, but it is possible. you remember whosit was elected as a Dem and swtiched. A large part of the area was unionist southerners in the Civil War. There is too little talk of the number of unionists in the south at that time, or the number that fought for the union, but the memory of it is here.

Never heard that before. I knew there were northerners sympathetic with the South but not visa versa.

Raby is, at least, a first rate candidate.

I hope he wins.
