DK,>>do what your gut says<< doesn't work for me, or I would be barfing all over the floor (I have a hard time believing how much I lost on APM, QNTM, and WDC before I finally bailed out a couple of weeks ago). But then again, taking losses is part of investing, and I have plenty of company on these threads as far as losing money is concerned. I don't normally short stocks. Basically I'm buy-and-hold. But that's not working in the current environment. And either I have to learn to be more flexible, using a trading approach to fit in with market downturns, or I should probably stay out. On a practical basis, tho, I realize I'm not a trader and want to find stocks that will go up over time, but I've sort of lost faith in that approach for the moment. DELL does sound interesting, tho. Thanks for the tip. Larry
