Which essentially means a property tax.

Only problem is that Prop. 13 would have to be repealed, which I am ideally in favor of, but not without corresponding cuts to either the sales or income tax.

Prop. 13 would never be repealed, though. That would pretty much screw over a lot of CA homeowners who didn't move and are sitting on unrealized wealth thanks to inflated real estate prices.

Not only that, but Ted would lose his favorite excuse for leaving what should have been his ideal left-wing utopia ...
