Jess, it's not much comfort but you know you aren't the only one to take a bath in this stock. If you can hold on until the end of the year I do think things will turn around but it may get uglier yet before then. But, of course, you have to decide for yourself.

Just chalk it up to a lesson in hard knocks and never bet the farm on a one product company no matter how good it sounds.

I was amused by a segment on Nightline last Friday. The reporter spent time inside Morgan Stanley to see how a mutual fund manager picks stocks. At one point they were trying to decide the future of Frito Lay because of the olestra scare. The fund manager conducted his research by eating a bag of corn chips to see how it would affect his digestive system. No diareaha so they kept the stock.

So the billion dollar fund managers can't even conduct good research into corn chips how can they understand the future of DUV lasers? And if they can't get good information how the hell can we?

These threads may be more useful as therapy rather than for picking stocks.

Good luck,

Tim
