Bob,

Many banks nationwide are now requiring an ink thumbrint on all non-bank checks. I have been told that several major banks have been inqiring about the IDX systems that are operating in Asia and Soth America......I do not believe IDX has started any major bank pilots in the US as of this time. If they have....it has not been made public.

I know that the major concern of banks at this time is the inter-bank transfer of funds and/or transactions. They are worried about theft from within the system rather than on the customer end. IDX has TouchLock systems filling this need.....I don't think NRID has a product that competes in this area.

Purdue Credit Union has been going on for years....and I'm not sure there is a big showcase there......I'm not saying it is goofed up, but I think they were using kiosks and stuff that will not be what the banks will be looking for first.

< Do you know of any hospitals using biometrics, other than the ones that are not using NRID's software and hardware? >

I guess you are asking me which hospitals are using NRID systems?
I think the Mayo Clinic is thinking about using NRID and I think there are a few relationships with health IT companies....but I have no knowledge of any large NRID systems.

I think the real point here Bob is just like you said....Can NRID hang on until the very narrow area of biometrics in which they operate takes off?........I would wonder. I think you can see a picture that seems to be getting worse for NRID.....I can.

I can point out a dozen or so very red flags. I have been pointing them out here for months. This stock has reverse split written all over it.....IMO. There must be refinancing...and private placements will dilute and force the reverse........And Cogent owns the technology and is due a $ 10 million payment that I don't see NRID being able to make.

You may say...."Clearwater is screwed, they have to back NRID"....and "Cogent is screwed, they have to negotiate with us"......But they don't Bob. All of this was forshadowed at the Annual Meeting......No quorum, no votes, no support.

We were explaining these things when the stock was three times the price it is today........You may say "things can't get any worse...could be a great time to buy"........but things can get worse.......and often do.......Read Dan's last post....He thinks 6 cents is possible. Dan may be alot of things, folks.....but Dan was right. And when Dan said dump this stock at $2.00......he was right......and at $1.00......right again. So what is he saying now? Dislike him if you wish...but don't say he has been wrong.

I hope the market explodes....of course. And I wish you well. Jaffo will tell you that NRID is like an option........Well, I've had alot of options expire worthless....and I owned a stock that did the same thing NRID is doing..... I think that without a reverse split....NRID will be a penny stock for quite some time. And penny stocks have a hard time making it back.

Identix is getting stronger as NRID is getting weaker, Bob. This will give IDX a very big advantage with the larger customers......the very ones NRID must have. Trust me when I tell you that IDX is moving in the same areas...and will be there.

Have you ever played the game Risk?.....When you gather strength and pile up armys......The game becomes very difficult for the opponant....no mater how hard they try. Business is kind of like that.

All of the above is my opinion....of course...and I thought the Eagles would thump the 49ers..........

Best of luck,

bg
