With the exponetial growth in disk capacity, all the old tape drives are going to become obsolete. Tape is an old technology. Its limited to sequential access. Terastor/qntm will make the first removable disk libraries viable in an enterprise environment. They will keep DLT, but enhance it with NFR. They will go after the backup storage market from top to bottom. qntm will be back with a vengence!
