Gregory, I think you should look up news items and past posts which discuss this basic information. Your knowledge is at square 1.

USWDA does sells most of the devices now through agreements with GTE and other resellers. The financing of the boxes is through GTE capital. The customer is given the units for their use for FREE. The customer pays GTE or other provider for wireless service and pays USWDA fees per transaction. In many cases the total transaction fees are slightly less than through the customers current provider. However, this fraction of a percent difference in transaction fees can add up for a merchant that does hundreds of thousands to several millions in sales - it may buy the boss a new Lexus. The business boils down to a "numbers game"; 1] Get about 100,000 Tranz Enablers into the field over the next twelve months and the revenue will naturally follow. That revenue stream should be in the several undreds of millions and is expected to reach over a billion in the near future. A small company making a small percentage of a huge amount of cash flow adds up to a substantial and profitable business. USWDA contracts the manufacture through one of three contract assemblers so they don't need to build up a large manufacturing plant. They need about one salesperson to train and work with every 10 GTE or other company's salespersons - so they can leverage their salesforce effectively.
