well, lets see. You own a network resource, which is locked up in a vault which only you can physically access it. Then you let the users access the resource. Now some guy who is really upset with you (no offense :-) runs this program to crash your resource. Can you see a denial of service attack here?

In the networking world, this is scary. do you remember a recent attack on an ISP which virtually shut their operations?
