Hi Salah: From your review of the revenue numbers, which quarter is usually the best? I think Q1 1997 will be a great surprise to the up side as it will begin to reflect GreenRiver upgrade sales.

Also, ( if you recall the Motley Fool summary report for Novell) the important statistics for Q4 is the distribution of revenue (1) by product sources (eg. GroupWise,ManageWise, Netware, etc) and (2) NetWare revenue by license type (new user vs upgrade). It will also be useful to monitor the geographical breakdown as the Asia and Pacific Rim market is growing and we need to verify if the Australian market is as dominant as was stated in an earlier article.

So in summary, I think you are correct that the street is going to look closely at the overall revenue number but also at the revenue product mix. Remember, NetWare sales growth and revenue as a percentage of total revenues will begin to decrease going forward.
