This is a must read/listen. Turns out Arizona's immigration law was pretty much (well almost entirely) invented and written by the private prison industry. I know I shouldn't be shocked... but I guess I'm still pretty naive. They wrote the law, they hired the lobbyists, they bought the politicians who sold it to the public.
