[Investors are getting out of WSTL and investing in AMTX thereby dropping the price of WSTL. Since AMTX is pegged to WSTL, it drops and the cycle gets repeated.]
ratan,

It's been my observation that we will see an equal but opposite reaction once this type of deal is consumated (and the Arbs are forced to close out their positions). For an historical perspective, study the stock swap\buyout of Aldus by Adobe Systems. The stock fell initially, drifted for several weeks, and then, upon completion of the merger began an upward climb that would see the stock surpass its previous highs. But these are not identical scenarios;this situation is entirely more susceptible to an upside explosion.

Wishful thinking? Perhaps...but then again Perhaps Not.

Best of Luck
