Yes Walt high plus means a lot of coarse free gold particles which is problematic for normal assay techniques. However low plus does not necessarily mean sulphides as it could be fine free gold which will pass through the screen. Unfortunately I don't have any references handy about this although I know there have been some good papers written. The laboratories will usually give you something to read about this.
