The reason I doubt zh's stuff is that it contradicts the poop the WSJ guy got and it ignores the divisions among the various members. zh on the other hand is guessing. He is a very good prognosticator and he may well be spot-on, but for now I think the WSJ guy indeed gets the advance stuff; it is consistent with the evident divisions which we can all see. Who knows, this stuff is so crazy they might take the advice of The Atlantic's guy and suggest that all US gold be sold.
