I see a train rushing towards deflation and the government towards the
end of the path creating inflation to stop it..that would mean an
inverted yield curve...
I hope I am not being contradictory when I say I also see so much
inflation(which is helping to create the disflation because it is robbing the average person of more and more discretionary spending)..that isn't used in the measures..so when people say "real
rate of return" after inflation..I think the inflation measures distort the real rate..
Again deflation because a lot of Americans don't have much discretionary money..with the discretionary money they have they seem
to be vaporizing it on cellular phone calls and internet chats etc..
I just think we are in the middle of a mania created by artificially
low interest rates ..a collusion among central bankers as a way to
stimulate the global economies with the least short term pain to keep
the powers that selected them to stay in power..now they are doing a
balancing act..
Who would absorb the supply? The Asians currencies don't go that far anymore ...
The Europeans don't seem so wealthy..The Brazilians are in trouble..
I guess the US...not a lot of corporations because aren't they using
their money to buy back shares to keep their share price up..
help..(those pipeline utility look good because of the returns and
takeovers..)
