Paul,

AMKR's earnings were OK from 2006 through 2008, but in 2009 dipped to $0.54 from $1.29 in 2008

The last Q in 2009 and the 2Qs in 2010 have shown double digit improvements on revenue and earnings.
The EE for 2010 is around $1.21 vs. the $0.54 last Yr.

It is highly leveraged, it has a rather large LTD, but also has good +CF and +FCF and about $2.30 in cash/shr

The short ratio came down 11% in the last month, but it still is around 6.4x the ADV or about 14% of the float.

The insiders hold a good % of the stock and have done some buying. The institutional following is also pretty good.<g>

The stock is trading close to the ACTAY of $7.28
On the daily chart, the stock has been on an UT since mid-Sept and the price is holding above the EMAs 10; 20; 50 & 100 which are all in the right sequence. <g>

On the five minute chart today, the price dipped below the EMA 10 & EMA20 but was able to close at the EMA10 and all EMAs remained in good sequence. <g>

On the weekly chart. you can see the support at the $6.90 level and resistance from $7.80 to the $9 level. <g>
