Read what I said......maintaining an alliance is perfectly fine, we maintain alliances with almost every nation. What's not fine is financing a nation maintaining an illegal occupation. As for American opinion on Israel.....

Completely false.....by maintaining status quo Israel can justify it's expansion in the occupied west bank. If Israel were to negotiate for a true peace, this would have to stop and that's certainly not what Israel wants.
