joarel: I agree. Notice how well SBC has held up in the recent market slide. In addition, the CEO has twice stated publically that the PAC merger will result in an additional 1 billion net by year 2000. With 915 mil shares outstanding thats over one buck a share. I see this happening by 1) rapid (starting in January) consolidation of the work force 2) Eliminating duplicate systems shared by SBC and PAC 3) Leveraging SBC calling ID take (48 % in SBC, 3% in Pac) and LD sales (the MCI-Worldcom merger should make this happen quicker.
